ATM Withdrawal Limits
Security rules limit ATM withdrawals in Portugal to €200 per transaction and a total of €400 per day per card. If you need more cash, you must go to a bank counter with your ID.
This limit applies to all Portuguese cards. Foreign cards might allow higher withdrawals depending on your home bank, but the machine itself may still enforce the €200 per transaction cap.
