Gira: Lisbon's Public Bikes
Lisbon's public bike system, Gira, is excellent for short commutes. For a monthly fee (around €25/year for residents), you get unlimited rides of up to 45 minutes. Most bikes are electric, helping you tackle the city's hills.
You need the App to unlock them. Stations are plentiful in the city center and along the river. If you exceed 45 minutes, you pay a small fee, so dock and swap bikes to keep riding for free.
