Julgados de Paz: Fast Justice

For disputes involving values under €15,000 (like landlord issues, consumer rights, or condominium conflicts), you don't need a traditional court. You can use the Julgados de Paz (Peace Courts).

They are faster, cheaper (fixed cost of €70), and less formal than regular courts. Decisions made here have the same legal validity as a First Instance Court ruling. It is the best way to resolve small civil disputes.
