Intercity Buses (Rede Expressos)

While trains connect major coastal cities, the interior of Portugal is best explored by bus. Rede Expressos is the national operator, connecting almost every town and village.

Buses are modern, equipped with Wi-Fi, and often punctual. Tickets are cheaper than trains, especially for last-minute travel. The "RFLEX" fare allows you to cancel or change your ticket up to 2 hours before departure.
